At the last Cine Gear 2022 in Los Angeles, the Spanish company VELVET, which designs and manufactures its equipment in Barcelona and is also a sponsor of APCP, received the Technical Awards in the Lighting category in recognition of the innovation of its new VELVET Cyc line.
The main features of VELVET Cyc are:
– Individual control of every bar that make up the luminaire.
– Adjustable vertical angle.
– Greater homogeneity of the light beam over more vertical metres.
– Greater light output and colour saturation.
– No fans.
– Up to 6 light engines per luminaire for unlimited creativity.
All these advantages allow to homogeneously illuminate a background or create gradients of white or coloured light, fixed or moving, for unlimited creativity and control.
In addition, you can easily modify the vertical angle of the luminaire to adjust the beam to your needs, covering a height of up to 7 metres with a single line of equipment, which combined with its multiple lights allows absolute control of the effect created.
