The Cannes Film Festival, which began on the 14th and lasts until the 25th of May, has another year with Marché du film, from the 14th to the 22nd of May.
Marché du film is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannesel, a meeting place for many of our production companies, who are present to take their projects forward.
The purpose of this event is to promote the Spanish film industry internationally, providing companies and professionals in the Spanish film sector with a platform to increase their visibility, explore new market opportunities and establish international collaborations. Organised by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones and the Instituto de Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA), the meeting aims to promote the co-production and distribution of film projects. It also allows participating companies to present their projects in development, participate in networking activities and attract foreign investment to Spain.
