“An unlikely friendship” from Blur at the British Arrows

“An unlikely friendship” was the spot that made a hyena steal our hearts last Christmas, this beautiful work was produced by Blur for Amazon.  Today we want to congratulate them for their nominations at the British Arrows. 

The campaign made for Carmelo&Willy by Blur x Outsider, The Mill and Ballad x Zelig Sound, directed by Chris Balmond, is nominated in three categories: 

  • Entertainment and Sports Promotions
  • Animation (CGI)
  • Director – The Frank Budgen Award

For over forty years, British Arrows has championed, rewarded and celebrated the innovation, bravery and artistry of moving image advertising. In that time, technology and media have changed beyond recognition, but the essential aspects of the craft have remained constant. Talent, dedication, innovation and professionalism have never gone out of fashion and it is these skills that are focused on, honoured and supported over the year.
