A. Save the date: let’s go to Cannes Lions with LBB!

We are pleased to announce that this year we will be part of the LBB family during Cannes Lions and we will keep you updated!

The Cannes Lions 2024 International Festival of Creativity’s extensive content program will showcase more than 150 hours of content, with approximately 500 speakers from across the creative spectrum. Speakers will demonstrate how award-winning creativity achieves business growth and explore innovation that will transform the industry. The Festival will take place June 17-21 in Cannes, France.

Of this year’s programming, Natasha Woodwal, LIONS’ chief content officer, said, “Our open call for content gives us unparalleled insight into what matters most to the industry right now, and we’ve used that to design a program filled with a diversity of voices offering different perspectives on global challenges. Speakers include creatives, monks, comedians, artists, filmmakers, scientists, economists, trend forecasters and Paralympic athletes: it’s a reflection of the multi-faceted world of creativity.” Simon Cook, CEO of LIONS, said, “We have identified the key areas that are priorities for our industry and community and used these to create five main content streams that will run throughout the Festival.

This lineup of world-class talent will share the thinking, processes and techniques that led to the most successful and award-winning work and provide our community with the best tools, ideas and insights they need to drive personal and business growth.”

The five streams of the content program are:

  • Insights and Trends
  • Innovation Uncovered
  • The Creativity Toolbox
  • Talent and Cultures
  • Creative Impact

We will be able to announce much more news about APCP’s activities for Cannes Lions as a sponsor of LBB at a later date – stay tuned!

C. El Ojo: sign up for early registration and get access to important benefits.

El Ojo de Iberoamérica is preparing to celebrate 27 years with Latin creativity and announces that it will be held on November 13, 14 and 15 in Buenos Aires. They have launched the early registration to access important benefits for companies that confirm their registration until April 30. Through the Early Registration System, they can organize and optimize their budgets and ensure the presence of their most outstanding works and the best professionals at the event that recognizes the best Latin creativity in the world. The advantage is that it allows companies to guarantee the participation of a certain number of their ideas/cases in the festival, paying for them in advance and then, when the online registration stage opens, select the pieces that will be part of the contest. In other words, they can register today, receive important discounts and then decide -starting June 3- which pieces they will present.

In addition, the Festival will maintain the possibility of registering with the BOOK format, which offers even more benefits. A BOOK is a package of pieces at a preferential price according to the number of pieces entered, which will allow them to participate in the awards for Ibero-America and automatically in the El Ojo +Mujeres Award and also in the Best Country Idea Award of El Ojo Local, paying an additional cost corresponding to the processing expenses for that award.

This year, the BOOK will have two formats: “STANDARD” and “PREMIUM” with some changes.
– STANDARD BOOK: Individual pieces may participate in all the awards available for 2024, except El Ojo Contenido, El Tercer Ojo, El Ojo Eficacia and El Ojo Transformación Creativa del Negocio, and campaigns may not be included in this Book (which may be included in the Premium Book). You will be able to choose between 5 options: BOOK 5, BOOK 10, BOOK 15, BOOK 20 or BOOK 30, corresponding to 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 pieces, respectively.

– BOOK PREMIUM: Individual pieces and campaigns can participate in all available 2024 awards including El Ojo Contenido, El Tercer Ojo, El Ojo Eficacia and El Ojo Transformación Creativa del Negocio and can choose between 4 options and for each one will be defined the number of individual pieces as campaigns or works for El Ojo Contenido, El Tercer Ojo, El Ojo Eficacia and El Ojo Transformación Creativa del Negocio that can be included in each Book. Book 10 includes: 8 individual pieces and 2 campaigns or cases of El Ojo Contenido, El Tercer Ojo, El Ojo Eficacia and El Ojo Transformación Creativa del Negocio, Book 15: 12 and 3, Book 20: 16 and 4 and finally Book 30: 24 individual pieces and 6 campaigns or cases of El Ojo Contenido, El Tercer Ojo, El Ojo Eficacia and El Ojo Transformación Creativa del Negocio.
