We welcome Mrs Greenfilm and our collaborators are clear about one thing: sustainable audiovisual production is possible and their mission is to help the audiovisual sector to incorporate sustainability into their day-to-day work.

A change of industry is not made overnight, so they work project by project, transforming certain actions to be more respectful with the Planet, reducing the negative environmental impacts and optimising the positive ones.

What do they do to achieve this goal?

  • Sustainability Plans and incorporate their Eco Consultants and Eco Managers with the aim of making films, series, spots and entertainment programmes sustainable.
  • They implement carbon footprint measurement and registration systems for any audiovisual project.
  • They work on corporate sustainability strategies for fiction and advertising production companies.
  • They train teams in sustainable audiovisual production.

Plus, they make every effort to ensure that waste is correctly separated, that sustainable purchases are encouraged: local and environmentally certified products, that transport emissions and energy use are recorded, that food waste and single-use plastics are reduced, that impacts on biodiversity are reduced and that areas of high ecological value are conserved.

They base their work on scientific rigour. That is why we apply the methodologies agreed upon by the scientific-technical community and the audiovisual sector:

  • PEACH and PEAR system of the Producers Guild of America Foundation (“PGAF”) and ALBERT.
  • IPCC and Spanish Climate Change Office methodology for calculating and offsetting carbon footprint.
  • Aligned with the requirements of the ICAA and the Spanish Film Academy.

They are the ones who make all this possible and we just can express our happiness counting with collaborators like you.
