Sustainable filming is possible if you know how – APCP Masterclass

By December 10, 2021 News No Comments

Get out your diary and save the date! The first APCP masterclass about Sustainable Filming will be taking place on 26 January.

It will be presented by Oliver Lupiáñez – MD & Founder of K is For Knowledge –

In this session we want to answer to the following questions:

  1. What does sustainable filming really consist of?
  2. Which are the functions of an Eco Assistant or Eco Managment?
  3. Will sustainability be a new department inside production companies?
  4. What is a sustainability plan?
  5. Is it possible to adapt a sustainability plan to the advertisement times?
  6. Which steps should be taken to make a green shoot?

Sustainability is not just in vogue, it is here to stay. Our goal is to motivate the sector by giving practical training on the possibility of making less polluting audiovisual projects. We will offer an approach that is useful and motivate participants to make progress in the following shoots.

Our audience is not only professionals, there are also students from different universities who represent the future of the sector.  If they know all these tools from their first steps, they will start to think about and incorporate sustainability as a fundamental part of any project.

Don’t leave it for later or for when the law requires sustainability, the time is now.

Take your first step to change on January 26th at Makkers School (C. de Ferraz, 80, 6º Izquierda, Madrid) from 19:00 to 21:00 (limited places) or follow us online and don’t miss anything!

Finally, we would like to tell you a little more about Oliver Lupiáñez:

K is for Knowledge is a set of educational resources and tools that help production companies, and all their stakeholders who collaborate in the projects (suppliers and technicians), to reduce as much as possible the negative environmental impacts that the audiovisual industry generates through its activities.

Oliver is a great professional in advertising production, with more than 15 years of experience as Production Manager in international production companies. In 2019 he created K of Knowledge with the purpose of introducing sustainability to audiovisual production.

With his experience in production studios and environmental communication, he is the perfect trainer to be with us in this masterclass.
