“These rules are there to be followed”. The Production Club and its wealth.

In any club there are rules and, although it is sometimes said that they are there to be broken, in this case, they are there to be followed. At The Production Club, their first rule is to “accept that each project is unique and that going outside the norm is the norm”. That’s what the advertising sector is like, and that’s what this production company is like. A company that was born in Barcelona and that has been working with the best agencies in the sector since 2014. Do you want to know more about them?

  • What is your purpose with The Production Club?

Our ultimate goal is always to feel proud of the work done, both the final result and the production process to which we give a lot of value. We firmly believe that when we enjoy this process, the final result of the pieces is always better.

  • How important is teamwork in this sector?

“This is, and always will be, teamwork” is the seventh rule of our Club. Without the team in this sector we are nothing. With each person who participates in the process, the project must grow and take on a personality of its own. And not just the production company’s team, but the team that must be built between the production company, the agency and the advertiser. Because we are a single team.

  • Moreover, it is not only necessary to create a good working environment. It is also necessary to take care of the environment in every project, right? Are you committed to sustainability?

As part of the “Climate Neutral Now” initiative of the United Nations for Climate Change, for more than two years we have been immersed in a strategy to be increasingly sustainable and to generate as little waste as possible. The best sustainable strategy is always not to generate waste and with this in mind we are implementing measures in all our processes.

Among the work of this production company is “Sé rico en vivir”, a spot created by the agency Ogilvy for Once and produced by The Production Club. A campaign that shows the importance of enjoying the little things in life.

  • What was your work on this campaign?

The brief from the Ogilvy agency was very clear: to portray the concept of “bienvivir” as faithfully and experientially as possible. From this appetising concept, we built with director Luc Knowles a sensorial proposal, not only in terms of image, but also in terms of sound and music.

  • Any anecdotes you can tell us?

It’s a project that we shot in different locations in the north of Catalonia, and whenever there’s a shoot with a stay away from home, it generates a multitude of experiences and anecdotes. We can say that these days together have strengthened the relationship between Once, Ogilvy and The Production Club, in the end, rubbing makes love (or not…).

  • It may seem very complicated to capture something as abstract as happiness. However, this spot makes it clear how little it takes to feel good. After finishing this work, are you proud of your work?

It was an ideal project to explain what I was saying before, to give value to the process. I can say that we did it, that we enjoyed it a lot and that the piece is a delight. We are proud of the work done.

There is no better way to say goodbye to The Production Club than with its fourth rule: “To produce is to know how to provide creative solutions”. This company is rich in producing and enjoys doing it.

Welcome to the club.
