  1. “Breaking Stereotypes” – II AMKT-El Chupete Talks

The 2nd AMKT-El Chupete Talks will take place at the MEEU Space on 8 March, from 10:00 to 12:00 under the theme Breaking stereotypes. As in the previous meeting, this forum-debate between leading professionals in the sector will explore current issues and trends, reinforcing the El Chupete brand as a specialist in children’s communication.

This new edition aims to address a movement that is becoming increasingly important in our society and aims to show a form of communication far removed from stereotypes, while at the same time offering a platform of recognition to the great professionals of communication, advertising and marketing.

During the event, three of the winning cases of the last edition of El Chupete will also be presented: “Por no, porno” by Pink Lab for FAD in which Deluxe was responsible for both the production and the design of the original soundtrack of the audiovisual pieces, awarded the Grand Prize El Chupete 2021 for Best Idea; “Todo saldrá bien” by Ymedia Wink iProspect for BBVA which won the Chupete 2021 in the Branded Content category; and “Barbie Astronauta” by Mattel, Creative Toy of El Chupete 2021.

The event, which has already opened its free registration for on-site attendance, can also be followed in streaming through the AMKT’s own website and El Chupete’s social networks.

2. Best!N Food registration closes

BEST!N FOOD closes its registration on 4 March. The awards gala will be held in Barcelona on 5 and 6 April.

BEST!N FOOD is the Food Marketing Awards organised by BEST AWARDS, in collaboration with ALIMENTARIA, the leading food trade fair in Europe and one of the most important in the world.

BEST!N FOOD aims to highlight and reward the best work of marketing departments and their agencies, and to bring together marketing professionals from the food sector to generate networking, debate and address the challenges they face in their day-to-day work, highlighting the work of marketing professionals and their importance within the companies they work for. All the pieces from this event will be exhibited at Alimentaria 2022.

3. Meet the jury of the AMKT awards XIV edition

The Spanish Marketing Association, AMKT, has announced the shortlist of professionals who will be part of the jury of the next edition of the National Marketing Awards, which will be held again on June 23rd at UZalacaín La Finca.

The importance of Marketing in the profit and loss account, which aims to “highlight the value of marketing in business activity. Marketing cannot be perceived as an expense, but must be considered an investment. And it is in this consideration of investment that we can quantify the contribution of marketing to the profit and loss account”, according to the organisation.

Under the leadership of Adriana Domínguez, executive president of the Adolfo Domínguez Group and winner of the last edition in the category of Business Leader and Marketing Promoter, the jury is formed by:

4.Inspirational’22 will be held from October 17th till the 20th

IAB Spain, the association of advertising, marketing and digital communication in Spain, has announced the composition of the Inspirational’22 Working Group, which this year will be held from 17 to 20 October, in a face-to-face format and with live streaming.

The Working Group, in the coming months, will work to keep Inspirational’22 as the national event of reference for all professionals in the digital industry who seek to learn, reinvent themselves and innovate through joint inspiration.

David Pueyo, head of content & transmedia strategy at Bridges_Havas Media Group España, will continue as Chairman of the Working Group. The professionals joining him in the group are the following:
