From a female perspective – Gerety Talks at FOCUS

By December 10, 2021 News No Comments

At The Location Guide’s FOCUS event this week Gerety Talks were featured at a panel discussing some of this year’s most famous Christmas ads.

Just like the award show, Gerety Talks puts some of the marketing and creative industry’s true changemakers in the spotlight – and at the centre of the conversation. The panel discussed some of this year’s most iconic Christmas ads, presented by the people behind their creation.

Moderated by Alex Reeves – European Editor, Little Black Book
Speakers included: Tracey Cooper – Executive Producer, Riff Raff Films (Aldi – Ebanana Scrooge)
Karen Boswell – VMLY&R Chief Experience Officer, EMEA (Boots – Bag of Joy)
Alex Coxhill – Producer / Project Director, Atomic London (Homebase – It’s Showtime)

An online premiere will be live next week to rewatch so stay tuned on the Gerety social media pages.

About The Gerety Awards

Alejandra Chacón, Strategy Director, Havas Media Group will represent Spain at the Grand Jury 2022.

The full jury will be announced in January. In the meantime, agencies, production companies and advertisers are invited to visit the Gerety website to learn more about the Grand jury and download the 2022 entry kit.

Named for Frances Gerety, the copywriter who in 1948 coined the slogan “A diamond is forever”.
The Gerety Awards marks the first time that a jury has been brought together to select the best in advertising — all advertising, not just advertising made for women — through the female lens, creating a benchmark that is relevant to the market reality, all while redefining the standard to which advertising has traditionally been held.
