  • The Inspirational 22 festival kicks off on Monday. 

The countdown is almost over to enjoy the 2022 edition of the Inspirational festival.

  • On 17 and 18 October 2022, from 9am to 2pm, the conferences will take place in PRESENT FORMAT at the CINES PROYECCIONES DE MADRID (Fuencarral 136) and can also be followed in streaming through the event’s private platform.
  • On 17 and 18 October 2022, from 16:30h to 18:30h, the conferences will take place in 100% ONLINE FORMAT through the event’s private platform.

On Thursday 20th October we will know this year’s winners and in this edition we have been represented by Mireia Martínez, co-founder of Igloo, as part of the jury.

You can still get your ticket to attend in person or online and we remind you that you can also buy your ticket for the Awards Gala, where there will be a cocktail and closing party.

  • LIA 2022 presents its shortlist.

The LIA 2022 jury has presented its shortlist after several days of judging. They assure that the works presented are of great quality and that each of them has been given the necessary credit during the deliberation.

Some of the judges who have been a fundamental part of the decision have told their experience, such as Alessandra Gomes who assures that “the debates are very rich, which contributes to raise the level of the awards” or Joel Simon, who comments how “LIA makes it a warm, affectionate and respectful environment. They treat the jury members with love and respect”.

The winners will be announced on 18 October and you can find all the nominees on the shortlist published on their website.

  • XI Magazine Forum.

On Thursday, 20 October at 9:30 am, the XI Magazine Forum will be held, in which Brian Morrissey, founder of The Rebooting, former President and Publisher of Digiday, will give a talk on Why magazines can thrive in a changing media landscape). The debate will be moderated by Concha Iglesias, Partner in charge of the Media, Entertainment and Sports sector and leader of Sustainability and Climate Change at Deloitte Spain.

The online publishing ecosystem was originally conceived to function much like magazines, with ads seamlessly integrated with content targeted to specific audiences with specific interests.

Today’s changing media landscape presents magazines with a new opportunity. The disappearance of cookies or restrictions on ad targeting are driving a return to context, and the idea of being all things to all people is giving way to focused, specialised audiences with close ties to brands.

  • The Premios Eficacia (Efficiency Awards) are around the corner!

It is almost time for  the 24th edition of the Awards Ceremony, which will take place the 27th of October at the Teatro Real in Madrid. Do not miss out!

With a total of 120 projects in this year’s shortlist, these awards broke its participation record after the deadline for the enrolling the competition a few months ago, including projects from production companies, as well as from creative agencies.

Out of all of them, only 81 agencies and 70 advertisers have made it to the shortlist, and now they will have to wait until the end of the month to find out who will be the winners. You can check the shortlist here.

  • El Ojo de Iberoamerica adds new professionals to the Hall of Fame for Latin Talents.

Ramiro Agulla and Carlos Baccetti will be honoured during El Ojo de Iberoamerica, during the 9th, 10th, and 11th of November, in its Hall of Fame for Latin Talents specifically.

The ceremony will take place on the second day of the festival, during the Awards Ceremony. In addition, the founders of the creative agency Agulla & Braccetti will be present in the Conference Cycle of the festival.

From the organisation of the event they think that this homage and their participation as speakers will inspire new generations of advertising experts. This way, they will get to know about the work and career of these two professionals first-hand, allowing them to learn about the industry and how it works nowadays.

 

  • The Sitges Next opens its period to enrol.

The Festival for innovation and communications Sitges Next has officially opened its enrollment period, free of taxes. Do not miss out this date with the industry that will take place on the 10th and 11th of November.

You can get your free tickets after filling this form, in which you can also choose what period of the event you want to attend (options available: Thursday morning, Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and/or Friday afternoon, as specified on the festival’s website).

The Festival will award the best campaigns of the year, and will highlight other issues in relation to the industry and communications, such as the agencies or the actions designed by brands.

 

  • The makers & shakers have finalists.

The makers & shakers have published their shortlist, assuring that all of them make the industry evolve through their actions and campaigns. 

In this edition, points such as technology, diversity or sustainability have been valued, through categories such as “Initiative to Grow Local Industry” or “Sustainability Award”.

The winners will be announced on 7 December in London, more specifically at BAFTA Piccadilly. You can find all the nominees on the list published on their website.
