  • Meet the LIA Awards Jury Chairs.

We finally know who will be chairing and judging the various categories: Rich Levy as Chair of the Health & Wellness Jury, Rachel McCready as Chair of the Pharma & Medical Jury and Alessandra Gomes as Chair of the Craft Jury as well as the Health & Wellness – Craft and Pharma & Medical Jury.

Barbara Levy, President of the LIA, said: “We are very selective in choosing the LIA judges. This elite group is made up of the best creatives in the healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising industry. We are very proud of our judging process, as there is no pre-judging, each jury member is required to see all entries in their respective categories and must participate in all rounds of judging”.

  • Last days to enter the Young Director Awards!

The deadline for entries for the Young Director Awards is 10 May, at midnight to be exact.

The awards enable the industry’s youngest directors to present their work to an “international jury of industry professionals, with the chance to win the YDA 2023 on 22 June in Cannes”.

  • Sitges Next analyses the impact of artificial intelligence on communication.

Under the name “What’s next? Artificial Intelligence”, the Sitges Next Communication Festival will be talking about current events and the future of the industry at this conference, focused on the impact AI is having on the sector.

Under the slogan “A festival… and a great party”, the event will be held on 7 and 8 June in Sitges, and “is the festival dedicated to promoting innovation in communication for brands, agencies, start-ups and technological creators. It’s two days of networking, nourishment and inspiration, with the aim of making a significant contribution to the transformation of the way we will communicate in the coming years”.

  • The ADC Awards choose their finalists.

The event has published its finalists, 800 works that “will become part of the centenary legacy” of the ADC.

Regarding the selection process, the organisers explain that “in the end, only the best of the best remain, representing 32 different countries this year. Squarespace tops the list of finalists with 23 entries, followed by Canada’s Rethink, with 20, and DDB Chicago, with 16 spots. In addition, almost 100 freelance projects made the shortlist, proving once again that they can stand alongside the world’s biggest agencies and studios and continue to shine.
