This October returns the annual Producers meet Producers, held during the Sitges Festival and in which Iván Fernández of Lee Films will be giving a masterclass.
The masterclass will take place in the Sala Noray at the Melià Sitges Hotel this 11th of October, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. As we can read on the Festival’s website, the event’s purpose is to ‘acknowledge the value and give visibility to the producers, inside and outside the industry, create business and work with new talents’.
Described as ‘the incubator for new audiovisual production companies’, there will be many different round tables throughout the day, as well as presentations from audiovisual producers from other communities and a space for networking.
Furthermore, this event also holds meetings with mentors and advisors, available for production companies with an experience under 5 years, as well as for other companies with different characteristics (production companies without experience in a specific genre, those that have not been selected in previous editions…).
The mentoring meetings have the purpose of periodically monitoring an audiovisual project for a whole year; meanwhile, the advisory meetings are done individually, they have a duration of 45 minutes and are useful for solving specific questions along the process.
