  1. Gerety talks: Natalia Benincasa

On Tuesday April the 5th 2022, Gerety Talks with Natalia Benincasa, Chief Creative Officer of Wunderman Thompson Argentina.

On the Gerety Awards YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXZjPQZiDL8

Like the festival, the Gerety Talks series puts creative leaders who are changing the industry at the centre of the conversation, with a refreshing look at leadership.

With over 17 years in advertising, Natalia has been part of the most recognized agencies such as FCB, Leo Burnett Mexico, VegaOlmosPonce / Ponce Buenos Aires, BBDO Argentina and Craverolanis, among others. She has also worked independently for Sony and Heineken Mexico, completing her versatile and integral profile, learning about other aspects of the Latin American market with these experiences. In 2019, she was named one of the most outstanding leaders in Mexico and in 2021 she was recognised as Creative of the Year at the Jerry Goldenberg Awards for excellence in communication.

Throughout her career, she has held positions as Regional Creative Director, Activation and Digital Director and Integral Director, as well as having developed digital departments within agencies twice. She is recognised as one of the few women to have held these roles in LATAM. She has won numerous awards at local and international festivals such as Cannes, LIA, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Effies, El Sol de San Sebastián D&AD and One Show. Among these awards, the Innovation Grand Prix, obtained at Cannes 2021 with the Degree Inc campaign, stands out as the most important, as it is the first and only one in the country.

Today she is the only woman to hold the position of Chief Creative Officer in a network agency in Argentina and her purpose is to work to contribute to building a more inclusive, humane and diverse world in the industry.

2. The successful II RAMPA meeting about the audiovisual industry.

The main values that motivated the birth of RAMPA in April 2020 were the transmission of knowledge and the visibilisation of female audiovisual professionals with the aim of favouring their labour insertion in an increasingly competitive market with an overwhelming majority of men in positions of power.

For this reason, in order to identify possible sectoral problems related to these issues, last autumn they promoted an open consultation with the 58 entities and associations that collaborate in the project, including APCP. After evaluating the 10 proposals received, they drew up a participatory programme consisting of 4 sessions or webinars, free and online, which have made up the “II RAMPA Professional Meeting on the Audiovisual Industry” of 2022.

All the sessions have included hot topics and have counted with the participation of 8 consolidated Spanish top professionals from the fields of Advertising, Film, Videogames/XR and Television who have shared with the audience their experiences, references, concerns and future projects.

The high quality of these webinars, which have been extremely inspiring and participative, and the notorious public attendance, with a total of 446 people following their presentations.

Within that attendance 134 people participated in the advertising session, in which Inés Segura, Primo’s executive producer and director of photography Juana Jimenez participated.

If you missed them, don’t worry, here you can watch all 4 meetings.

From APCP, we congratulate RAMPA for this initiative and we are happy to have been part of this project
