Filming against climate change: how to produce in a sustainable way?

By October 28, 2022 News No Comments

On the occasion of the “International Day against Climate Change”, which took place on the 24th of October, we would like to remind you how we can contribute to reducing our carbon footprint during filming.

Pollution, one of the most serious problems we face today, can be reduced with small actions that can make a big difference. That is why the APCP has made available to production companies the “Green Shooting Guide”, an initiative that includes ways to contribute, carried out together with Green The Bid.

It contains a compilation of sustainable production practices, from stopping to use single-use plastics and avoiding unnecessary travel, to reducing waste.

These steps can be incorporated throughout all stages of a project, so it is also important that moments, such as pre-production, and departments, such as the wardrobe, are taken into account. The optimisation of processes is covered in more detail in the guide mentioned above, which you can access here.
