C. Gerety Awards: Who will be the production company of the year?

On May 10, registrations close to participate in the Gerety Awards and the jury is preparing to choose the Agency and Production Company of the Year for Spain.

In this link you can check last year’s winners. In 2023, Sioux & Cyranos and Mamma Team won the awards for Spanish Agency and Production Company of the Year respectively, with outstanding campaigns.

To participate in this category, you must submit a single reel of no more than 5 minutes in length with up to 3 campaigns carried out in the last year.

Cristina Alonso del Río, Creative Director at LLYC Spain and Alejandra Chacón, Director of Strategy at Havas Media Spain, shared their expectations regarding the campaigns they will come across when judging. “Advertising has always had humour at its core. And lately, he’s been more dedicated to saving the world with the purpose of brands,” Cristina explained. “This year I expect to find that insights bring smiles back to our faces. Let’s put aside our fears and stop being so serious. Advertising and the world need it!”

“What the Gerety Awards bring is perspective. And what I hope to find again in this year’s edition is that perspective in the face of new modes, approaches and ways of communicating, in the face of the resonance of the campaigns for a jury made up of women and the beauty of different cultural sensitivities,” added Alejandra. “I look forward to campaigns that challenge the way we think about business communication and change our perspective on what a campaign is.”

As every year, the famous BBQ in Cannes will celebrate the global shortlist and the winners of the Agency and Production Company of the Year category by country in each of the executive jury venues of this edition of the festival. The guest list is now open, click here to register.

The FINAL deadline to submit pieces to Gerery Awards 2024 is May 10th.
