One of the most anticipated talks within our APCP Advertising Film Production Activities at the Malaga Festivalis the one featuring Inés de León (film and advertising director at Only 925) and Javier Ruíz Caldera (film and advertising director, as well as partner/founder of Bambina)
These directors, originally from cinema, have also been in charge of advertising shoots throughout their professional careers. From 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., both will present their experience and the differences between recording spots (where creativity is at the service of a brand) and fiction.
APCP has conducted interviews with both of them in previous weeks, where we have already discussed these issues. Caldera says that “they are completely different media, but you could say that advertising has a conciseness that forces you to be very precise and concrete in the few seconds you have to tell a story”, while Inés de León assures that “it is a very interesting creative exercise because your ultimate task is to create a vision”.
