Let’s talk about service – Focus 2021

On Wednesday during the FOCUS audiovisual event, organised in London, a talk was held to explain the importance and advantages of the work done by service production networks.  It was moderated by Steve Davies, President of the Advertising Production Association of the UK. APA.

The main international production ambassadors were invited to participate in this talk: Harry Tracosas (CEO and founder, GPN Global Production Network) and Julia Weichinger (International Consultant – Global Production Network) of GPN, the production company Mamma Team is a member of this network representing Spain; Michael Moffet president of PSN where Palma Pictures is also part of this network representing Spain; and Ivo van Vollenhoven, founding partner of TwentyfourSeven.

It was a debate about the advantages of being part of a service network both as a partner and as users of the network: production companies, agencies and advertisers at an international level.

Sustainability and the practices implemented in each country were also discussed.

The difficulties that Covid has had in filming abroad were discussed, and how the role of service networks has helped to stabilise and understand how and where it is possible to work with certain guarantees.

In conclusion, they asked about the future role of service production companies and their role as advisors to all levels of production, from advertisers to producers, agencies and consultants.

Advertising production is a sector that is increasingly relevant in the industry, with perspectives of growth, specialisation and professionalisation in which advertisers are more and more demanding when working outside the industry.

The service networks secure a high level of quality and production guarantees around the world. The same that is required when you produce as an APCP partner.
