a. Impact of the XI Conference: greater success and greater outreach
The impact of the XI edition of the Conference has crossed all the barriers we could imagine. Thus, the role of the Community Manager has been pivotal, having adopted a distinct strategy to elevate the success even beyond that of the pevious edition.
First of all, a lot of expectation was created weeks before the event, communicating day by day, through APCP’s social networks, different news: the news of the program, the nominees, teaser of the spot and later the advertising spot, the information about the spaces where the event took place, the announcement of sponsors and new collaborators…
At the same time, press releases were sent to the media, which in addition to disseminating them through the digital press, addressed their readers through social networks.
Thanks to the collaborating press of the audiovisual, advertising and marketing sector, through press clipping we have verified the wide participation and diffusion that has been carried out, and the interest it has generated. All this in order to publicize the event and the city of Valencia. Similarly, during the days of the event, the media were transmitting content through Instagram stories, Facebook and tweets, practically in real time.
All the content generated for social networks, both from the press and APCP itself, was done with the aim of making the event visible, generating engagement and interacting with users.
The communication and closure report has revealed that there has been a remarkable growth in reach. In the period analyzed this year, which has been from September 25 to October 8, lower than the previous one (which was a whole month), the impact on Instagram and Facebook has been exponentially higher. The reach obtained on Facebook is 146% higher than the 2022 edition, and on Instagram 496% higher than the previous year. On Twitter it has remained stable with respect to the previous edition.
The XI Advertising Film Production Conference has also been a success thanks to the participation of the viewers. Attendance, with respect to the two previous editions, has grown significantly. From the IX Conference to the X Conference there has been an 84.24% increase in attendance. And, from the X previous edition to this last one, there has been a growth of 18.84%. This means that in two years we have grown by 115.27%.
In short, this edition has left us with excellent data that we hope to surpass next year.
