On October the 3rd, the gala of the VIII Ibero-American Film and Audiovisual Platinum Awards awaits us in Madrid, which will be held at IFEMA and we are happy at the APCP to be collaborators.
During four intensive days, it will bring together face-to-face and virtual proposals such as activities, workshops, conferences, pitching sessions or master classes, addressing the challenges faced by the production, distribution and exhibition sectors.
An initiative promoted by EGEDA (Entity for the Management of Rights of Audiovisual Producers), FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Producers), the Platinum Ibero-American Film and Audiovisual Awards are also supported by the Academies and Institutes Ibero-American cinema and numerous sponsors.
In its 8th edition, they will once again bring together the great talents of the industries of the 23 Ibero-American countries, praising the most outstanding productions and creators of each year with twenty-two awards and a Platinum Award of Honor.
With reinforced Covid security measures, the festival will be held from September the 27th to October the 1st in online format, culminating on the 3rd with the face-to-face awards ceremony in Madrid. Gone are previous editions where we enjoyed the gala in the Riviera Maya: today the Platinum Awards welcome us, the Spanish, a little closer to home.
