The strategic alliance will allow Primo Content, an APCP associate, to strengthen its global role and open new opportunities in Spain and Mexico together with Rei Pictures.

Our associate Primo Content continues to consolidate its international leadership with a presence in seven countries and a solid track record in the advertising field. In its expansion strategy, we are pleased to announce that Primo has unveiled its alliance with the Argentine production company Rei Pictures to further strengthen its global presence.

This agreement marks a decisive step, which includes the opening of offices in Spain and Mexico, as well as the expansion of its activities into television and comprehensive production services for Europe and Latin America.

With this association, Primo will provide strategic support to Rei Pictures, strengthening its catalog, its talent representation division, and its capacity to undertake large-scale international projects. For Nicolás Pérez Veiga, representative of Primo Content, this collaboration seeks to “build a global powerhouse for original voices in cinema.”

Rei Pictures has established itself as one of the most influential production companies in Latin American auteur cinema, working with names such as Lucrecia Martel, Luis Ortega, Felipe Gálvez, Claudia Llosa, Amalia Ulman, Benjamín Naishtat, Gonzalo Tobal and Valeria Bertuccelli. Among its upcoming milestones is the premiere at the Venice Biennale of Lucrecia Martel’s first documentary, Nuestra Tierra (Landmarks), which will be screened out of competition.

With titles such as The Souffleur by Gastón Solnicki, The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonça Filho, or Peter Hujar’s Day by Ira Sachs, Primo Content has demonstrated a unique ability to move proficiently between advertising and cinema. Now, its union with Rei Pictures —a benchmark in Latin American auteur cinema— reinforces its role as a key company in building a global network of talent and creativity.

For its part, Primo Content continues to add cinematographic and advertising projects of international relevance and consolidate its global network of talent and production. From the APCP, we celebrate this new milestone for Primo, which consolidates the value and international projection of our associated production companies.
