Metropolitana’s visual treatment in Fuma and Mamma Team’s cinematic commitment with I Walked Through The Wall demonstrate how our associated companies expand their talent beyond advertising.
MAMMA TEAM
The production company Mamma Team shares its latest cinematic work: the short film I Walked Through The Wall, directed by Pablo Larcuen and financed by NEON, a project that was personally selected by filmmaker Sean Baker (Anora, 2024). This short tells a story that combines humor, strangeness, and emotional depth to portray the life of a woman who, after accidentally discovering she can walk through walls, begins an intimate journey marked by loneliness, family, and the desire to be seen in a world that often ignores her.
Shot on analog film in Los Angeles, the piece is produced by Heaven and co-produced by Mamma Team and Roma, reaffirming the commitment of our associated companies to projects that transcend the limits of advertising to venture into auteur cinema. Its festival run could not have started better: the short has already been nominated at festivals such as PÖFF Shorts, FICVI, INTERFILM, or ABYCINE—some qualifiers for the Goya Awards—and had its international premiere at the Austin Film Festival. More recently, it was awarded in Spain, at the ALCINE festival, where it won the Movistar+ Award for Best Short Film in the festival’s 54th edition.
A new demonstration that the talent of our associated production companies knows no walls… or limits.
METROPOLITANA
We are highlighting the talent of our associated companies again with the latest work from Metropolitana, which participated in the post-production of Bad Gyal’s new music video ‘Fuma’, providing a high-level visual treatment.
Metropolitana was responsible for the complete post-production, with Ruben Galamba as colorist and a solid VFX team led by Xavi Bertran, accompanied by Montse Capdevila and Lluïsa Cuchillo.
The result is a music video that combines rhythm, texture, and a carefully crafted visual atmosphere, demonstrating the fundamental role of post-production in the construction of artistic language.
