The short film, directed by Maria Contreras and co-produced by Mamma Team, has been selected for its world premiere at this prestigious festival; while CANADA provides the visuals for TICTAC and shares images from its shoo.
MAMMA TEAM
Co-produced by Mamma Team together with Sumendi Filmak and Pausa Dramática Films, and distributed by Agencia Freak, La Prona tells the story of Elena, captain of the San José, one of the last traditional fishing boats. Through her perspective, the short film explores the end of millennia-old cycles and the transformation of humanity’s relationship with the sea, addressing themes of heritage, climate change, and the loss of identity of traditional crafts.
This project reinforces the versatility of Mamma Team, demonstrating that the technical excellence of advertising production successfully translates into authorial cinematographic narratives that seek to raise awareness and move audiences on the international festival circuit.
CANADA
CANADA has been responsible for producing the visual proposal for “TICTAC,” the latest single by the Spanish singer and composer, María Arnal. The piece is included in the album AMA and is directed by Celia Giraldo.
