This week, Garage Films, Landia, Lee and Solworks: producers and directors of their agencies stand out in unique projects.

From the APCP we want to highlight the incredible work being done by our associated production companies, even beyond advertising.

Take a look!

Garage Films

The film ‘Del Otro Lado del Jardín’, based on the novel of the same name by Carlos Framb and directed by Daniel Posada (@danposada), will premiere at the Fortaleza cinema in Bogotá on Tuesday 22 October. The film, produced by Oriol Uria and Albert Uria in collaboration with Calite Films (@calitefilms) and Particular Crowd (@particularcrowd) for @hbomaxla, will hit the Max platform worldwide on 25 October, after a brief stay in cinemas.

This heartwarming story, based on true events, has been made possible by hard work and talent both in front of and behind the cameras. ‘Del Otro Lado del Jardín’ marks a milestone for Spanish production, highlighting the Uria’s as one of the few advertising production companies to have achieved a release with Warner Brothers.

Lee

Lee has done it again! The horror short film ‘Ahora vuelvo’ is one of the contenders for the nomination ‘Best Fiction Short Film’ at the next Goya Awards 2025.

Production: Ángel Recio, Iván Fernández. Directed by: Gabe Ibáñez, Lucas Paulino. Congratulations team!

The atmosphere of this short film is full of suspense and tension. If you are horror genre lovers, don’t wait any longer to watch it! To leave you wanting more, here’s what it’s about:

‘Maria, a 7-year-old girl, is left alone at home while her mother goes out to buy dinner. The time alone lasts into the night. When someone knocks at the door, Maria doubts whether it is her mother or not’.

Landia

The director of Landia, Ariel Danziger, has directed the short film Despierto. Starring Juan Daniel García Treviño and Sasha González, Danziger draws an intimate portrait in an alternative dimension in which the characters begin an introspective journey into their relationship through dreams.

In the words of the director, ‘a very personal story for me, reflecting exactly where I was at that moment in my life […] a bridge between the conscious and the subconscious, between worlds that may or may not exist’.
