- Congratulations to Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, preselected for the Oscars with ‘Cinco Lobitos’
Alauda Ruiz decided to take the risk and go ahead with her latest project, Cinco Lobitos, her first full-length film, written and directed by her. The owner of the associated producer Igloo already received great recognition when she was awarded with the Golden Biznaga during the last Malaga Festival. Adding to the huge success of her debut film, the Spanish director has already finished filming her second full-length film, titled ‘It’s you’.
The film was first released the 20th May, bringing actors Laia Costa, Susi Sánchez, Ramón Barea and Mikel Bustamante together on the big screen.
The story revolves around Amaia (Laia Costa), and her experience with motherhood, which has moved people all around the globe and nominating her for the preselection of the Oscars. The title of the film is a gesture to the children’s popular song that every parent has sung to their children at least once in their lives.
Throughout the 104 minutes of the film we are witnesses of the way the protagonist tries to adapt to her new role and the difficulties that come with it, deciding to go back to her parents’ house (Susi Sánchez and Ramón Barea), while her partner (Mikel Bustamante) is away.
Most of the film takes place on the coast of the Basque Country, where we can see Amaia not only in her role as a mother, but as a daughter as well. The coexistence and the time she spends with her family trigger a change and the start of a process of rediscovering herself through the ties that unify and pull them apart.
Alauda Ruiz achieves, through her female gaze and direction, to make anyone feel connected to some of the characters, relationships or situations that occur on a day-to-day basis in a home. What are you waiting for to go see Cinco Lobitos?

- TEAMWORKS has worked with Maluma y Anitta in the filming of a new music video titled ‘El que espera’.
One of Team Works’ August projects has already been released, Anitta and Maluma’s latest music video, ‘El que espera’, filmed in Ibiza.
The video, directed by Mike Oh and with Anthony Kimata as Director of Photography, was planned to be filmed while Maluma was on the island for his tour. To do this, the record label sent artist Anitta in a private jet all the way to Ibiza on the same day of the filming, following a very tight schedule.
In the middle of a heat wave, during the summer in Ibiza, everything was a challenge, from the booking of hotel rooms in a crowded island to installing a platform inside a pool in a time period of 24 hours.
With a cinematographic look (anamorphic lenses), the Director of Art Andrea García Ferrer (Barcelona) mimics the filming of an old-fashioned film where both artists find each other, surrounded by a safari-like environment.
