Find details of the venues where the next workshops on Commercial Film Production will be staged.

On 7 and 8 November 2024, the 12th APCP Workshop on Commercial Film Production will take place in Valencia and, so that you can start planning your stay, we present the venues that will host the event: the Teatro Talia, the Centro Cultural Del Carme, and the Centro Cultural La Beneficencia

Talks and conferences

The Talia Theatre is the place where most of the workshop activities will take place: round tables, talks and conferences.

Where? Calle Caballeros Nº 31 in the heart of Del Carmen neighbourhood, in the city of Valencia, Spain.

The Teatro Talia is a historic building, inaugurated in 1928, which in its beginnings had a markedly popular character, with a mainly local programme, and then, over the years, opened up to an international market. The hall has 243 fixed seats, 62 boxes on the first floor, 48 amphitheatre seats and 36 boxes on the first floor, and the upper carving that presides over the stage was made by the Valencian sculptor José Justo Villalba. Its regular programme includes various forms of expression, including mainly performing arts and music, as well as artistic training and professionalisation activities.  The Teatro Talia has a unique setting with added value for cultural, business or promotional events, as it has a location especially suitable for activities such as: Conferences; Conventions; Commercial recordings; and Photo shoots, among other uses.

Awards Ceremony

The Centro Cultural del Carmen Cultura Contemporánea will be the venue for the 6th edition of the APCP Awards.

Where? Calle Museo Nº 2, also in the oldest and most bohemian neighbourhood of Valencia.

The Centre del Carme (CCCC) is a great container of culture where you will see all kinds of exhibitions: from urban art to an opera recital. It even has a permanent room, ‘Espai de Telles’, which focuses on early childhood. Its exploration of the contemporary world through a wide variety of formats and languages has made the CCCC one of Valencia’s most highly rated cultural institutions. It has a mixture of styles that form part of its essence and make it the best setting for the exhibitions, concerts and formations it hosts. The building, declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument in 1983, is in itself an architectural complex as varied as its cultural offerings. You can stroll through a Gothic cloister or a Renaissance cloister, which coexist with the remains of an Islamic dwelling. Its use as a cultural centre came in the 19th century, when it became the Museum of Fine Arts and the headquarters of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Schools of Fine Arts and Arts and Crafts. You will be pleased to know that the best Valencian artists of the 19th and 20th centuries passed through its classrooms. Artists of the stature of Joaquín Sorolla, Francisco Domingo, Ignacio Pinazo, Manuel Benedito and the Benlliure brothers.

APCP Member Activities

The La Beneficència Cultural Centre will be the venue for the now classic Annual General Meeting of Members of the Association of Spanish Advertising Film Producers.

Where? Calle de la Corona, 36, we are still in the Del Carmen neighbourhood, all the spaces are connected by a very short distance.

Restored in the early 90s, with the intention of creating a large cultural complex, the Centro Cultural La Beneficència was born and currently houses the Museu de Prehistòria de València, the Museu Valencià d’Etnologia, the Institució Alfons El Magnànim and the SARC, Servei d’Assistència i Recursos Culturals. In addition to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions of the museums, conferences, round tables, book presentations, etc. are organised daily at La Beneficencia. Weekends are especially dedicated to family and children’s audiences with theatrical performances, workshops and concerts.

A little favour: See you there!
