The Spain Audiovisual Hub has joined us to introduce to us its Boost Plan for the Audiovisual Industry and tell us about its latest updates. To do so, we had Luis Cueto with us, Advisory member of the State Secretary’s Office of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures.
The Economy Ministry wanted to talk about a number of relevant topics that affect the audiovisual industry. On an economic level, some of the existing issues need to be taken care of in the next three years, since the money comes from European funds.
For this reason, Cueto encourages all the industry workers to sign up to the Hub’s website , where we can find all the updates and information regarding this topic.
He also introduced the schedule that can be found in the website’s news section, where we can find all the relevant calls related to the Spanish industry. It gathers information about the latest news and the financial aids available at the moment. Funding was also one of the main points during the presentation.
Furthermore, the website has specific sections about what to do to be able to film inside Spain as well. For example, the documentation and permits needed, whether it be on a national or international level, or the available insurances for unexpected events that can occur during filming.
Lastly, Cueto brought the Hub’s new job listings into focus, which was created in order to make it easier to look for a job or, from a company’s perspective, the search for workers. Inside this, there are several job listings, and Cueto encourages professionals from the industry to make suggestions.
