It is not easy to be part of this industry. ‘It is a very demanding job that requires lots of will… And to have that will, you need to be passionate about it’, says today’s guest. From the APCP, we want to give women who have created their own production companies the credit they deserve. Therefore, today we will be talking to Lobo Kane’s co-founder and executive producer. Her name: Eva De Lera.
Truth be told, passion and love are not always found with the first try. This is what happened to Eva De Lera, who studied Business Management and Administration. It would not be until she started working as an intern in a production company that she would discover her passion for the audio-visual world. She has worked for a wide range of production companies, enriching her, and giving her the ability to adopt different points of view.
Eva De Lera, co-founder of Lobo Kane
‘Lobo Kane is the result of my 20 years of experience working for different production companies with my partner in creative agencies, Ramón’, Eva says. This company, its values and its support of talent take good care of the craft and creative ideas, and have great respect for its collaborators, clients, technical team and suppliers.

But what project has impacted our interviewee the most? She seems unable to choose just one. However, she admits that her first filming session ‘left a mark on her’ since she worked with one of her heroes, Tony Kaye. This executive producer also holds close to her heart two lotto advertisements. Some of her projects are…
Médicos Del Mundo: La factura positiva de La Luz by Borja Larrondo
Lotería de Navidad 2021: “Cadena de décimos”
Tanqueray: La 0,0 diferente by Paco León. Álvaro Brechner. Agency: La Despensa
Being superstitious seems inherent to this line of work. This is why Eva prefers not to talk about any upcoming project. However, she reveals that many ‘are very interesting, and some with a bit of fiction’.
Eva considers having ‘lots of will’ essential to work in this industry. ‘If you love it, you will enjoy it a lot, if you do not then it is better to work in something else’. She confesses that even though it is tough she would choose her current job time and time again. ‘I would do everything exactly the same because I can say without a doubt that everything I gave came back to me’, she declares.
‘If you like it, then go for it!’. This is something Eva tells every girl wishing to be part of the audio-visual world. ‘Fortunately, women have made way for themselves in this industry. Although there is still a lot to do regarding some positions’ the co-founder of Lobo Cane tells us.
It is no surprise that people working in Lobo Cane love wolves. According to them, these mammals are loyal and help one another. And even though we did not get to know which is Eva’s favourite animal we could take a guess… Here are some curious facts about this amazing and passionate woman until the next time we talk to her. This has been Eva De Lera.
