On March 13-14th, Building South Youth is happening: An event organised by AIESEC (the world’s largest UN-recognised international youth organisation). The event seeks to promote leadership through the SDGs and give visibility to entrepreneurship.
Laura Millán, APCP’s communications officer, will be the Chairperson of this two-day event, which will be offered online and free of charge, with prior registration. Get your ticket here!
In it, we will have three spaces:
Inspire: Learn about the current context through presentations by leading experts in various sectors.
Get involved: Reflect, raise your voice and share ideas with professionals from the sector through a round table.
Take action: Create different projects together with the invited entities following a Design Thinking methodology to generate a positive impact linked to the SDGs!
Some of the speakers at the event will be: Susana Revuelta, Marketing Manager of Ecoembes; Rosa Siles, Managing Director of Andalucía Emprende; Martina Guzmán, Pitch Coach, Design Thinker and Mentor of Women Entrepreneurs; José Antonio Fernández, Co-founder of OKPlanet; Álvaro Sánchez freelance digital content creator, Ana Moreno Pacheco co-founder of Asociación Filosolar; Alejandro González founder and CEO of Taalentfy.
Laura was an active member of AIESEC from the end of 2012 to the end of 2015. She started as a member of the committee linked to the University of Seville, in the area of communication. She was then elected for a year as Director of Talent Management. During that year she managed, together with the rest of the Board of Directors, a committee of 36 people to develop their full potential within the association; she attended and spoke at 11 conferences in English.
After finishing her position she was part of the national team of AIESEC Spain. There she supported the Director of External Relations, elaborating the product portfolio of the main partners and taking part in the Building Youth to Business event that brought together relevant international companies with young talents. After this, she helped with the recruitment of new members in AIESEC Zurich during the year she was living in Switzerland, and was invited to participate in the national event held in Fiesh.
From middle 2015 she became AIESEC’s Alumni and she has continued to participate in events as a speaker and chairperson of some conferences.
APCP supports young talent and we encourage you to learn more about AIESEC and attend the Building South Youth.
