The Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences has announced the nominations for the 40th edition of the Goya Awards, whose gala will take place on February 28 in Barcelona.
The Spain Audiovisual Hub has echoed the complete list of nominations through its institutional channels as part of its work to support and disseminate Spanish cinema, a task to which the APCP adds itself with special enthusiasm.
We are proud that the film by our associate, Alauda Ruiz de Azúa tops the list of nominations for her film Los domingos, with 13 nominations. Closely following is Sirât, by Oliver Laxe, with 11 nominations. Multiple options have also been obtained by Maspalomas (9), La cena (8) and titles such as Sorda, El cautivo, and Los tigres, each with 7.
The APCP is proud to support the dissemination of these nominees as a reflection of the vitality of the Spanish audiovisual sector and encourages its entire community to follow the ceremony and activities associated with the Goya Awards 2026.
