ICEX-Invest in Spain will host the presentation of the Business Climate Barometer in Spain from the Perspective of the Foreign Investor 2025 at its headquarters next February 4th.

Next February 4, 2026, ICEX-Invest in Spain will host at its headquarters at Paseo de la Castellana, 278 (Madrid) the presentation of the Business Climate Barometer in Spain from the Perspective of the Foreign Investor 2025, a key report to understand how international investors perceive Spanish competitiveness and the business environment. The event will be chaired by Amparo López Senovilla, Secretary of State for Trade, and organized by ICEX, Multinacionales con España, and IESE Business School.

The program will begin with the institutional presentation of the Barometer by Paloma Cabrera López, president of Multinacionales con España, and María Coello de Portugal, associate director of the IESE Business School Madrid Campus. Subsequently, María Luisa Blázquez, associate researcher at the International Center for Competitiveness at IESE, will present the main results of the study, which include factors such as economic stability, taxation, available talent, and the ease of doing business in Spain.

One of the central moments will be the results evaluation roundtable, moderated by Elisa Carbonell Martín, CEO of ICEX. Participants will include Antonio Rodríguez (VP Enterprise Client Unit at Kyndryl Spain), Paulina Sánchez Del Río (Communications Manager at HSBC), and José Saura Vinssac (Head of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications at Michelin Spain and Portugal), who will analyze the Barometer data from the practical perspective of large companies with a presence in the country.

For the audiovisual sector, the Barometer is especially relevant: it provides indicators on stability, competitiveness, and attractiveness for investment, which are determining factors for attracting new productions and strengthening Spain’s position as a European audiovisual hub. An essential analysis for all stakeholders interested in investing or expanding in the country.
