The Executive presents the progress of the Spain Audiovisual Hub at ISE and reinforces its support for the technological and creative industry.
The Government of Spain participated for the first time in Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the main international event for the audiovisual and systems integration sector, which was held in Barcelona from February 3rd to 6th. The event served to publicize the latest advances of the Spain Audiovisual Hub, the strategy to make Spain a European benchmark in the sector.
The institutional presence was articulated through its own stand by the Sociedad Española para la Transformación Tecnológica (SETT), an entity ascribed to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service. From this space, the SETT developed a program of activities focused on innovation, technology, and new challenges in the audiovisual ecosystem.
The objective is to identify the industry’s key trends and continue supporting its growth through the instruments of the Spain Audiovisual Hub, an initiative framed within the Recovery Plan that is currently in its second phase.
The inauguration of ISE 2026 featured the participation of the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, María González Veracruz, who intervened in the Investor Forum, alongside the Director of Audiovisual at SETT, María Coronado, and representatives of European and regional institutions. Public financing lines available for the sector were presented at this forum.
In addition, the SETT organized a roundtable on techno-creative convergence, sponsored the event’s hackathon—focused on sustainability, innovation, and cybersecurity—and hosted presentations and pitching sessions on the latest audiovisual trends at its stand.
