Applications can now be submitted for the grants announced by the Andalusian executive for the 2026 fiscal year, with the deadline for submission ending next January 30.
The Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian Regional Government) has opened the public call for short film production grants for the 2026 fiscal year, and Spain Audiovisual Hub is disseminating it on its website to facilitate access for producers and creators in the audiovisual sector. The grants, under a competitive application process, are intended for short film projects that adhere to the theme defined by the Andalusian Agency.
Individuals and legal entities established in a member state of the European Union or the European Economic Area may apply for these grants, provided they are registered in the ICAA Film Companies Register and under section 961.1 of the Economic Activities Tax for Film Production before the publication of the call. Economic Interest Groupings dedicated to film production that meet the same requirements can also apply.
The grant amount for 2026 is 17,000 euros per project, with the aim of promoting the creation of short films in Andalusia.
The submission deadline will begin on the first working day after the publication of the excerpt in the Boletín Oficial de la Junta de Andalucía (Official Gazette of the Andalusian Regional Government) and will remain open until January 30, 2026, with applications outside this period being inadmissible.
