This will be done through the Mexico – Spain 2025 Audiovisual Technical Conferences between June 15 and 17.
ICEX Spain Export and Investments, together with the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Mexico, has organized professional conferences in Mexico City from June 15 to 17, 2025, just after the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
The objective is to strengthen relations between the audiovisual industries of both countries through co-productions, B2B meetings, and exploration of new sources of financing. Mexico, with more than 7,500 commercial screens and a growing connection with Europe, is presented as a key market for Spain. The initiative is aimed at independent producers, sales agents, and film and television companies with projects in development seeking international co-production and distribution in Latin America.
Participants will have personalized agendas of meetings with Mexican producers, informative sessions on public aid, and networking events at the Embassy of Mexico in Spain. In addition, projects will be presented in pitch format and access to a market study on the Mexican audiovisual industry will be offered.
This action is part of the Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan, which has positioned Spain as a global production center, doubling foreign promotion activities and attracting foreign investment.
