An online training program to strengthen business competitiveness and sustainability in international markets
Business internationalization is no longer understood without responsible and sustainable processes that strengthen the value chain. With this objective, ICEX has launched a series of free videoconference talks that seek to offer companies practical tools to implement due diligence and, with it, gain competitiveness in international markets.
Throughout seven sessions, experts in sustainable management, traceability, and human rights will share their experience along with representatives of companies from strategic sectors such as fashion, tourism, and agri-food. The program is designed to respond to the main challenges faced by companies in their international expansion, showing how responsible management not only mitigates risks but also opens up new business opportunities.
Among the planned contents are key topics such as mapping and traceability of the value chain, identification of risks and impacts, double materiality and its financial effect, the real participation of stakeholders in due diligence processes, as well as the incorporation of impact criteria in consumption decisions. Each sector will also have a specific talk where its challenges and competitive advantages within the framework of sustainability will be analyzed.
The talks will be held between September 17 and October 28, always at 10:00h, with registrations open until the day before each session. Participation is completely free, but places are limited, so interested companies are recommended to register as soon as possible.
With this initiative, ICEX reinforces its commitment to training and supporting Spanish companies, helping them to integrate responsible criteria into their activity and to successfully position themselves in international markets.
