Ramón Arteman, director of Metropolitana, will reflect on the influence of new technologies in the sector.

The first presentation of the VII Edition of the Advertising Film Activities organized by the APCP within the framework of the Malaga Festival on March 19 will be given by Ramón Arteman, director of Metropolitana. The post-production company is one of those that has joined the APCP along with other companies in the sector in the now renamed Association of Advertising Film Producers and Post-Producers of Spain.

Under the premise that “The future is now,” the presentation revolves around the reflection and exemplification of how Artificial Intelligence and new technologies have influenced and transformed the processes in audiovisual post-production and, more specifically, advertising.

Ramón Artemán has been a VFX technician in the advertising sector since 1985. In 1995, he participated in the founding of Metropolitana and has directed the company since then. Metropolitana, based in Madrid and Barcelona, works for leading international production companies, agencies, and brands. Specializing in Color grading, VFX, and CGI, Metropolitana is a pioneer in the incorporation of AI in post-production. The first Deep Fake in Spanish advertising was that of Lola Flores for Cruzcampo (2020) and since then it continues as a benchmark in the application of AI in advertising.
