Production activities: Somos5 / Health, technology and creativity: the formula that conquered Cannes

Under the premise of “When ideas improve people’s lives,” the production company presents two successful projects that won at Cannes Lions.

The first advertising case study of the VII Edition of the APCP Advertising Film Production Activities at the Malaga Festival is presented by our associated production company, Somos5.

Its executive producer, Jonatan Andrés, will address how ideas have an impact beyond and can improve people’s lives. In his words, they discover “that our work is really worthwhile.”

He will do so through a tour of two successful campaigns by the production company, both winners of Cannes Lions in their last two editions. Within Samsung’s “Technology with Purpose,” we find “IMPULSE,” a project that not only won a Cannes Lions but also transformed habits and improved the daily lives of thousands of people.

The other project that triumphed at the International Festival of Creativity was “UNFEAR,” a spot for the AI-based app that, through personalized noise cancellation, protects, relaxes, and assists the ASD community and people with hyper and hyposensitivity hearing, so they can live freely in an overstimulating world with noise pollution.

Jonatan Andrés has more than 25 years of experience in the audiovisual sector. He made the transition from television to advertising before forming his own production company, which has been in the market for 11 years. Passionate about innovation and visual storytelling, he is constantly looking for new ways to connect brands and audiences.

Somos5 has been recognized with multiple awards throughout its trajectory, including a Grand Prix at the Clio Awards and 2 Gold Lions at the Cannes Festival. It has more than a decade of experience and is a multidisciplinary production company based in Madrid that combines talent, technology, and creativity. Over the years, it has worked for brands and creative agencies, both nationally and internationally, building audiovisual products that have allowed them to connect with their audience through branded content, advertising spots for television and/or digital, documentaries, or music videos, among others. Their audiovisual projects have been awarded in numerous advertising and creativity festivals, such as El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, the Eficacia Awards, or Cannes Lions.
