After the recent approval of the instructions establishing the entry and residence process for third-country nationals working in the audiovisual sector, the Spanish Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, organized a meeting with audiovisual sector representatives to present the content of these instructions.
It was a friendly and pleasant meeting, and the minister was interested to know our concerns after the new instructions were approved and those matters that we believe should be improved in order to be more competitive as a filming destination.
He was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Migration, the Director General of Migration, the Director of Communication at the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration and the rest of the cabinet who work day by day with us to address our problems and provide solutions.
The participants, in addition to expressing their thoughts on areas for improvement, expressed their gratitude for the fast processing of requests that we have been asking for so long and that, moreover, during times of pandemic, facilitates the continuity of our work in the international context.
