The APCP had an outstanding participation in the latest edition of the Cannes Lions festival, held in June. As a sponsor of the exclusive LBB Friends and Beach, located on the Croisette Beach, the Association had its own space from 17 to 21 June, where it was able to welcome clients, strengthen business ties and enjoy the event. In addition, APCP members attended the various conferences and debates organised by LBB, where key issues about the present and future of the industry were discussed.
We were also present again at the VIP BBQ organised by the Gerety Awards, an event that brought together leading industry professionals to celebrate the announcement of the list of global finalists and to recognise the agencies and production companies of the year by country.
APCP representatives also participated in The World Producers Summit, an exclusive gathering of leaders in the advertising production industry. We were represented by María Jesús Horcajuelo, president of APCP; Nico Cabuche, member of the governing board and representative of CFP Europe; and Adriana Piquet, managing director. This meeting provided a platform to discuss opportunities, challenges and trends in the global production market.
In addition, the APCP held meetings with Ibero-American industry professionals, attended the screening of the winners of the Young Director Awards -awards dedicated to promoting the talent of emerging young filmmakers-; and held a meeting with AEA and Scopen to address relevant industry issues.
APCP’s participation in Cannes Lions 2024 reinforced its commitment to the advertising production industry and facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience at an international level.
