The Ibero-American Advertising Communication Festival, known as El Sol, in collaboration with the Asociación de Productoras de Cine Publicitario (APCP) and the Festival Cíclope, organised a special screening to celebrate its 38th edition. This event, called ‘Panzá de Publicidad’, offered the public a selection of the best advertising pieces that have left their mark on the industry.
The screening was made up of three outstanding reels: that of the Cíclope Festival, which presented a careful selection of the festival’s highlights; that of the APCP, with winning or nominated spots in the last year at festivals such as El Sol, the CdeC, the OJO, Lions, ADD, Cíclope and El Lápiz; and, lastly, the historical reel of El Sol, which compiled the great film awards from the first edition of the festival in 1986 to the present day.
This event, free and open to the public, took place at the Cine Albéniz in Málaga on the evenings of Thursday 30th and Friday 31st May and was made possible thanks to the support of the City Council and the University of Málaga.
The ‘Panzá de Publicidad’ was an experience that allowed the public to enjoy advertising pieces that, in just a few minutes, manage to move and transmit powerful messages, capable of making people laugh, dream and reflect. In short, it was a unique opportunity to appreciate creativity and talent in the field of advertising communication.
