The sixth edition of the study is currently underway.
In 2015, the Asociación de Productoras de Cine Publicitario (APCP) together with Scopen promoted the first study to measure the economic impact of advertising film production in Spain. Since then, and given its evident functionality, they have continued to support its implementation until today.
In this sense, the fifth and last edition of the study was produced in 2022, offering an updated analysis of the advertising market and its audiovisual production in economic terms. The study, which is carried out every two years, takes into account six key indicators when analysing the market: volume of turnover, destination of turnover, economic activity generated, volume of staff recruitment, estimated investment (during the year of study), and equality policies and tax incentives. The main results obtained in the five previous editions are available on the APCP website.
During this year, a new study will be developed taking as a reference the production of the audiovisual advertising film industry in the year 2023, which will be aimed at both members and non-members of the association. In this way, it will be possible to take an updated dimension of the relevance of the economic impact of advertising film production in Spain.
Soon, the APCP will announce some modifications, who will support the study and where we will put the focus.
