The 25th Festival de Málaga will be held from March 18th till the 27th, consolidated as the great Spanish film event, in a very special edition in which, after two years marked by the coronavirus pandemic, the event will recover spaces for meetings and social events, always within the precautions and safety measures established by the health situation.
Having the aim of bringing the festival to many who have not been able to enjoy it until now, the opening gala will take place in the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena, with a capacity for 3,000 people. A part of them will go to protocol, another part will go on sale to the public and a third, and the last but not least, will be distributed among social groups and associations thanks to a collaboration agreement with the “la Caixa” Foundation, a partner of the event. This will be just the beginning of one of the most special editions of the Festival, which is packed with novelties, content and top level guests from the Spanish film and audiovisual world.
