News: We bring you the first details of the program

Discover the first outline of what will be the VIII Edition of the Advertising Film Production and Post-production Activities at the Malaga Festival.

The countdown has begun. The APCP will once again be present at the Malaga Festival with the VIII Edition of the Advertising Film Production and Post-production Activities, an event already essential for the sector that will take place next Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in the morning at the Teatro Echegaray.

Under the motto “Where advertising and cinema meet”, the Association of Advertising Film Production and Post-production Companies of Spain (APCP) returns one more year to the Costa del Sol to highlight the close relationship between both disciplines and champion the role of advertising cinema as one of the great economic drivers of the audiovisual industry.

The conference will bring together prominent voices from the sector along with emerging talent from the main schools and universities in Malaga, in a program composed of interviews, presentations, and round tables that will reflect on the current state of the sector and the coexistence between fiction and advertising. A space for meeting, dialogue, and inspiration that has consolidated itself as a reference within the Festival.

First confirmed round tables

We can now announce two of the contents that will be part of this year’s program.

The first confirmed round table is titled Where stories come to life: service and Spanish territory, and will be presented by our production company Sol Works. This session will focus on Spanish service work, with the aim of highlighting this type of production that attracts large international projects to our country thanks to local talent. It will also address the opportunities that Spain offers and the factors that make it an ideal set for first-class shoots. Furthermore, the production company will present successful case studies. We will soon reveal the speakers and more details about this round table.

Also confirmed is the session The cause of the accident that provoked the fire: when institutions ignite the spark of advertising creativity, presented by our associate production company CANADA along with ICEX as the advertiser. Following the enormous success of this campaign and the great reception the presentation had at the XIII Advertising Film Production and Post-production Conference held in Valencia last November, its presence in Malaga was a must. The Festival and this campaign become the best setting to exemplify the powerful relationship between advertising and cinema. We will soon announce the representatives who will participate in this session.
