The audiovisual industry and technology are advancing by leaps and bounds and, many times, these advances serve to give an evolutionary leap in traditional techniques that have been applied for decades.
Virtual production is an example of how techniques such as rear projections, already used by Hitchcock in the 1930s, are taken to the next level, using LED panels or previews in studios with green backgrounds to integrate into the composition.
