We are pleased to welcome Deluxe as a sponsor of the X Jornadas de Producción de Cine Publicitario for another year.
Is there anything more rewarding than sharing what you know to do with others? Knowledge, moments… At Deluxe they know how important it is and, for this reason, they bring your ideas to life so that you can share them with the world.
Deluxe is a company that offers a multitude of services from shooting to final delivery: Image, Sound, VFX, Graphics, DCP, IMF, UHD, Subtitles and Dubbing for Film, Television, Platforms and Advertising.
Regarding the advertising work that Deluxe has done, Cristina Rego (the advertising director of this company in Barcelona) considers that: “All jobs are important and depending on the post-production requirements, it is necessary to focus on certain aspects, there are post-productions that are not very “gimmicky” but that require a great work process, there is no standard model, each content has its own needs”.
Here we show you some of Deluxe’s most recent works…
Donuts – “El círculo perfecto”
Ultima Mini – “A su medida”
But what can we know about the new projects? Well, we’ll have to wait until they are published… “Our type of work and the contracts that we have with our clients require strict confidentiality and protection clauses for the content we work on… We undergo regular audits that ensure this commitment,” explains Cristina. In this same context of rigour, Deluxe is a member of the AEPP, whose membership ensures compliance with the regulations established by AENOR for this Association.
For this and much more, the organisation has been awarded. At national level, this year they have been nominated for the Goya for best sound for the films: “Tres” and “Madres Paralelas”, an award that was finally won by the former. There is no doubt that this company follows its motto: “We bring your ideas to life to share them with the world”. And they don’t just win awards at a national level. Outside Spain they have received the Ariel 2021 for the best visual effects for the VFX team for the film “Sin Señas Particulares”.
Deluxe is a versatile company that adapts to the times and needs of the sector, as well as to the constant changes in post production. The company does not consider that new technology replaces artistic and human talent. As Cristina argues, “technology is a tool, it is human talent that will make good use of it. One does not replace the other”. Her main priority is to invest in people, in order to ensure that there is enough talent to drive this industry forward.
For example, in terms of its social responsibility policy, “there are diversity, inclusion and sustainability programmes. diversity, inclusion and sustainability programmes. These are internal programmes, transversal to the the whole company around the world,” says Deluxe’s advertising manager. Their culture defines who they are, committed to being actively involved where it matters, which they do through specific plans. Some of them are: Family at Deluxe (a group dedicated to creating a space for everyone from mums and parents to grandparents and more), Pride at Deluxe (dedicated to creating a safe environment for the LGBTQIA+ community by empowering resources, belonging, partnership) and Women at Deluxe (which advocates for the empowerment of women in the workplace and beyond with mentoring programmes, professional development, etc…).
Deluxe provides work in which excellence is sought with every project, the brand itself comes to mean luxury or luxurious, no doubt this company got it right with the name. They are Deluxe and for Deluxe, what they do.
