Landia, Rebolucion, and Primo emerge victorious on the big night of Ibero-American audiovisual production. Additionally, APCP will also be represented at the London Music Awards thanks to Smile.
São Paulo’s MIS, Museu da Imagem e do Som, hosted the CÍCLOPE Latino Festival awards ceremony on April 2nd. This year’s winning works, selected from over 200 entries from across Latin America, continue to showcase the region’s unique creativity and the talent that is making its mark on the international scene.
The Jury awarded the Grand Prize to Papota for CA7TRIEL & Paco Amoroso, directed by Martín Piroyansky and produced by our associated production company Rebolucion.
In addition to awarding winners in nearly 20 different ‘Craft’ categories, CÍCLOPE Latino also honored certain companies with Special Awards for their best and most successful performance. Among them, we want to highlight our associated production company LANDIA, which has been recognized as the Best Production Company of the Year! Furthermore, in this same category, the other two nominees were also members of APCP. Specifically, Primo and Rebolucion.
Other awards given to our members for their work were:
- (Im)perfect Motherhood by Primo (in the ‘Casting’ category).
- This Is Not A Game by LANDIA (in the ‘Cinematography’ and ‘Idea | Commercial’ categories).
- The hero by LANDIA (in the ‘Direction – 61 to 120 seconds’ and ‘Visual effects’ categories).
- ¡Suerte! Shot on iPhone by LANDIA (in the ‘Production design’ category).
- Not so happy animals by Primo (in the ‘Idea | Commercial’ category).
- IMPOSTOR / # TETAS / RE FORRO / EL DÍA DEL AMIGO by Rebolucion (in the ‘Music video’ category).
- Intercambio Injusto by LANDIA (in the ‘Music video’ category).
Furthermore, we also want to congratulate our other associated production company, Smile, which has entered the shortlist of the London Music Video Awards with nominations for ‘Best Production Company of the Year’, as well as ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Visual Effects’ for the Otherside music video directed by Nysu; and ‘Best Performance’ and ‘Best Song’ for the Brasil music video directed by La Niña.
On the other hand, CANADA has received two nominations at The Webby Awards; one for The Cause of the Accident that Caused the Fire for ‘Best Long Format (Video and Film)’ and for Mercè 2024 for ‘Best Trailer (Video and Film)’. ¡Congratulations!
