Spanish talent once again stands out at the festival with over fifteen productions signed by APCP partners competing in one of the most important events in Ibero-American creativity.
El Ojo de Iberoamérica has announced its nominations and the production and post-production companies associated with the APCP are once again placing Spanish talent at the top. From projects that bet on technological innovation to campaigns with a strong social commitment, the productions signed by our partners demonstrate the diversity and creative power of the national industry.
Among the nominees are Somos5, for “The mind guardian” by Cheil España for Samsung; CANADA, for “Lyinx with catnip” for Axe/Lynx by Unilever Global and “La causa del accidente que provocó el incendio” (The cause of the accident that caused the fire) for ICEX; Pijama Studio, for “Air raid alarm clock”; and Blua, for “El complemento perfecto” (The perfect complement) for Aceites de Oliva de España and “Escape room soledad” (Loneliness escape room) for Fundación La Caixa.
ROMA, nominated with three pieces: “The trial” for Lingokids, “Unbelievably long lasting” for Old Spice, and “Llevamos más tiempo aquí que lo muy de aquí” (We’ve been here longer than what’s very local) for Burger King; in addition to Metropolitana, co-producer of “La causa del accidente que provocó el incendio” along with CANADA.
Recognition for sound work comes from The Lobby Studio, nominated for “Eco-ilógico” (Eco-illogical) for SEO BirdLife, “Amnistía Internacional” (Amnesty International) for Amnistía Internacional España, and “A unos libros de distancia” (A few books away) for Casa del Libro, as well as Beat Music and BSO, for their work for Burger King and Volkswagen, respectively.
Among the most outstanding productions is also “Afterglow”, by CRAFT for Durex España, directed by Paloma Adrien and in collaboration with The Good Company.
The list is completed by Antiestático with “Breaking glass” for Scandinavian Airlines, Landia with “Small talks” for Fundación Salud por Derecho, Garage Films with “Alien (Audi)” for Audi, Pueblo Films with “Tan como tú” (As much as you) for Down España, and Blur, with “Dribble to survive” for Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo.
