Spiral Locations is a company that focuses on location management for all types of audiovisual productions: films, series, music videos or advertising. Its activity includes campaigns linked to the main advertising production companies in Spain, as well as fiction productions carried out by the most outstanding national and international platforms and companies.
It is the inheritor of Tato Perdiguero’s extensive archive, one of Spain’s location pioneers who has worked with the most renowned personalities in our cinematographic industry, Spiral Locations is constantly updating and expanding its already extensive catalogue of interior and exterior locations in the Community of Madrid.
A Location management agency? Not at all. Its crew is not only made up of experts in the exploitation of photographic archives, there are professionals of the audiovisual industry with wide and guaranteed experience in the departments of location, production and communication.
Spiral Locations is a company of specialised technicians whose job is to make sure to always provide the locations that each production company needs, and they can supervise a project from the very beginning; including the breakdown and proposal of locations in accordance with the script and treatment, the complementary search of new locations, the management of the artistic and technical visits of these, the booking of the locations, the handling of the permits with the relevant administrations, the supervision of the booking of space on public spaces, the monitoring of the filming, and the closing of every location at the end of every filming project. All of it managed in an easy and efficient way, avoiding unforeseen difficulties for the producers and owners, waving the flag for trustworthiness, affability, guarantee and professionalism.
Spiral Locations is run by Miguel Anaya, renowned professional with an experience of more than 20 years in production and as head of locations for advertisements and fiction for national and international productions. He has worked on projects for directors like Pedro Almodóvar, Alejandro Amenábar, Daniel Sánchez-Arévalo, Santiago Segura or Dani de la Orden, amongst others. In addition, Miguel regularly works as representative for the location managers in Madrid when dealing with the public administration entities, the Community and the City Council.
Since 2018, Anaya’s management of Spiral Locations has consolidated the company as one of the main scout suppliers, as it is the only location company member of the Alianza Industria Audiovisual or ALÍA (Audiovisual Industry Alliance). An alliance with the purpose of bringing together and strengthening all companies that intervene in the audiovisual production process through initiatives and collective actions that contribute to the evolution and improvement of the Spanish audiovisual industry as a whole. For example, the joining of forces between the ALÍA, the Asociación Española de Productores de Cine publicitario or APCP (Association of Spanish Advertising Producers) and the Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior or ICEX (Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade), which happened this year in order to promote the Spanish advertising industry through a Meeting Lounge in the Cannes Lions, a festival for international creativity. An initiative supported by Spiral Locations.
Spiral Locations has just upgraded its website https://spiral-locations.com, adding a special space for media and press to access the contents of their most recent pieces of work and receiving information through newsletter or customised notifications after signing up on the website. This space is available through the Press and Communication services of the company. Once more, Spiral Locations makes the difference once more by being the first location company with its own Publicity department, promising to keep up not staying still.
