Gerety announces a final extension of the deadline for entries until 12 May and invites entries for the portfolio cut from which the Spanish agency and production company of the year will be chosen.
The final deadline for entries to Gerety 2023 will be 12 May. The shortlist will be announced shortly afterwards, together with the announcement of the Agency and Production Company awards for each country hosting the executive juries, within the portfolio cut. Here are last year’s winners of the Agency of the Year by Country awards.
Gema Arias, Chief Creative Strategy Officer Kitchen “Taking advantage of the fact that our awards are named after the creator of the unforgettable “A diamond is forever” what I would like to see is a lot of brilliance in the work we find to judge. Brilliant work creatively, strategically and executively. Work like diamonds, work that lasts over time, that is remembered, that makes an impact. That leaves a lasting impression. As for the choice of Spanish Agency/Producer of the Year, it has to be the one that, following the simile of Frances Gerety’s diamonds, like these, has multiple facets and shines in each one of them. Come on, that “rough stone” agency/producer that kills you with envy”.
Patricia Ochando Hevilla, Head of Strategy & Planning Edelman, Spain “If, since the pandemic, we have seen a shift from purpose to action in the campaigns submitted to the festivals, I hope that we can continue to see creative action reflected in the work submitted; the ability of brands to create impact through good creativity. Our world needs it badly at the moment.
Gerety winners receive extensive press coverage and are included in national and global rankings such as the World Creative Ranking.
