- Last chance to participate in ‘El Ojo de Iberoamérica’
The enrolment period for the 25th edition of ‘El Ojo de Iberoamérica’ comes to an end on 31st August. Until then, those with an idea wanting to participate in the International Festival can give it a chance and sign up.
Those campaigns from producer companies, agencies and advertisers helping to promote the industry will be awarded on 9th, 10th and 11th November. Winners will be chosen from amongst a wide range of contestants, including participants coming from communication agencies and even NGO.
‘El Ojo’ was born as a way to acknowledge the iberoamerican talent and is nowadays perceived as a space where ‘incomparable exchange, networking and encounter opportunities between Latin talents and worldwide renowned professionals’ happen.
This year, on the occasion of its 25 years of being celebrated, the Festival will hold a cycle of conferences in which experts from all around the world will participate. The aim of the talks is to educate and reflect, but also analyse new trends in the advertising industry and try to predict their future.
This will also be a special edition because it is being held in person again after two years due to the pandemic. During 2020 and 2021 the event has been taking place online, so this year’s reencounter will be specially exciting. ‘Something interesting happens every time we get together’ said the organisers of the Festival.
- The deadline for the Immortal Awards is getting closer
Once again, under the motto ‘if you are not creating you are dying’, the Immortal Awards are back with the 9th September as the end date to participate. However, this date is also a starting point, as it marks the start of the evaluating period of the competing projects.
This will be the last day to enrol in this competition and is free for members of the Little Black Book. Depending on the type of membership, Gold or Silver, they will have the option of handing in up to five (Gold) or two projects (Silver).
From 2018, these awards have tried to get away from conventionalisms, awarding the most innovative talent and creativity. By allowing the handing of a maximum of five projects the Immortal Awards reduce the volume of projects entering the shortlist, helping find the world’s best campaigns.
And what about the jury? It will be made up of renowned creatives, so participants have been warned about how difficult it will be to win them over: ‘entering the competition is easy, the difficult part is winning the award, and that is how it should be’.
Those fortunate enough to gain this jury’s recognition will be announced on 4th December. So, what are you waiting for?
