The APCP will organise the 7th Edition of the Advertising Film Production Activities at the Malaga Film Festival. In addition, we review the events in which the APCP will participate in the first half of 2025.
With January behind us, we look forward to the rest of the year with great excitement for all the events to come. We are also very excited to confirm that we will return to the Malaga Film Festival with what is already the seventh edition of the Advertising Film Production Activities.
For yet another year, the APCP returns to the Costa del Sol in March with a day dedicated to advertising production, which is not only enjoyed by our associated production companies, but also by students and visitors who come to discover more about the sector. Our visit will begin with the traditional scouting by the Malaga Film Office on the 18th March and will culminate with presentations on the morning of the 19th March at the Echegaray Theatre.

As always, the APCP also disseminates and participates in various events and formats that promote and boost our sector. This is a summary of some of the events that you cannot miss in the first half of 2025:
- SHOT / III Festival de Spots en Cine: In March, the third edition of this festival will take place in which the APCP has been represented as a member of the jury by Adriana Piquet, our general director.
- DÍA C y Premios Nacionales de Creatividad: The APCP collaborates one more year with the Creativity Club (c de c), which celebrates a new edition of Día C and the National Creativity Awards on March 21 and 22 at the Kursaal Congress Palace in San Sebastián.
- British Arrows: On March 27, the British Arrows will take place to celebrate the best commercials and films in the British advertising industry.
- Best!n Food: Best!N Food is an annual food marketing event, the only Food Marketing awards given in Spain, organized annually by IPMARK and DA/Retail magazines. The registration period is open until March 7 and APCP members enjoy a 10% discount. The winners will be announced at a gala on April 10 in Madrid.
- PHNX Awards: AdForum launched the PHNX Awards in 2020 to support the industry and demonstrate that creativity always finds a way to thrive. Next 15th of May they’ll celebrate their 5th edition and will once again bring together a jury of creatives, marketing professionals, journalists, strategists, agency leaders and consultants; among which is our partner Elena de Lera, co-founder and executive producer of Lobo Kane.
- D&AD Awards: The D&AD awards, known familiarly as the “Yellow Pencils”, celebrate a new edition on May 21 with their traditional ceremony in London. The D&AD awards cover 27 different categories that cover all aspects of communication, from writing and art direction to architecture, music videos and photography.
- 39 Festival El Sol: El Sol will celebrate its new edition on May 29 and 30, 2025 in Malaga, and one more year will continue to claim creativity as a transformative force and business engine. In this edition, the APCP belongs to a work table and also members of the association belong to the jury in the ‘Craft’ category.
- Cannes Lions: The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity celebrates a new edition between June 16 and 20 in which the APCP will once again be present.
